Tile and Tile Adhesive Ceresit CM 11 Plus – For Professional Installation of Ceramic Tiles
Ceresit CM 11 Plus adhesive is the ideal choice for installing ceramic tiles, both indoors and outdoors. With its C1T class according to SR EN 12004, it combines cement with mineral compounds and modifiers to provide exceptional adhesion and quality.
Preparation:
The adhesive is suitable for various types of support surfaces, from porcelain ceramic tiles (with low water absorption) indoors, to absorbent ceramic tiles (groups BIIa, BIIb, BIII), natural stone, terracotta and mosaics, both indoors, as well as outside. Adheres to resistant, clean, dry or wet surfaces, excluding those with non-stick substances (fats, bitumen, dust).
Method of application:
The adhesive is prepared by mixing 6.5 – 7 liters of water with 25 kg of Ceresit CM 11 Plus, until you get a uniform paste without lumps. After waiting 5 minutes for the chemical reactions to complete, mix again. The mixture thus obtained can be worked for at least 90 minutes to 3 hours.
Application:
The adhesive is spread on the substrate using a notched trowel. The size of the teeth must be chosen according to the size of the ceramic tiles: 4 mm for 10 x 10 cm tiles, 6 mm for 15 x 15 cm, 8 mm for 20 x 20 cm, 10 mm for 30 x 20 cm and 8 mm for 40 x 40 cm boards.
Consumption:
The consumption of Ceresit CM 11 Plus can vary between 2 kg/m² and 4.8 kg/m², depending on the support and the dimensions of the ceramic tile.
Completion:
Excess fresh mortar is cleaned with water, and hardened mortar requires mechanical means. The surface of the finishes is cleaned with a damp cloth.
Storage:
It is recommended to store it for 12 months from the date of manufacture in the original unopened packaging, in places protected from moisture.
Careful:
Do not use Ceresit CM 11 Plus for critical or highly deformable surfaces, such as heated floors, existing ceramic tiles, balconies or terraces.
